Pavlina: Life is Not For the Living

I just realized that I have been gettig pretty scarce around here. The reasons are many and we will discuss this later.

First, I just want to let everyone (both of you) know that I am over my bout of mastitis and I never developed a cyst in my breast whcih was my greatest fear. the antibiotics did their magic and I recovered quite nicely. My one night away from home did tur into two as I ran across an ice storm on my drive back and I stopped in Fredericksburg, VA so I would not have to drive at night on icy roads.

Second, we have a nanny and she is so far, in a word, FAB. Working out quite nicely. She is a bit hesitant about certain things, but I am sure we can work through any problems, but she is great (so far) with the kids and that is the most important thing.

Now, why have I been so busy and where is the new and improved site I keep promising? Well, work ahas been insane and I have been busy trying to get my home life in order so I just have not had much time for blogging. I have been spending all my breaks and lunch time on makeup alley instead of writing my blog posts, sorry. Indeed, I have to go very soon as I am looking at the clock and it tells me it is aalmost 9pm and I still have to spend some time with hubby before we both fall comatose.

The new site. Lets just say I would not be holding my breath on that one. I do have some templates in the works, but I am not a web designer by any stretch of the imagination and I am much too cheap to pay someone to design my site so I am doing it myself in the 15 minutes I get to work on it a month. You should see the huge pile of sewing projects sitting on my table and I am very afraid they take precedence over my free time right now. Maybe by the summer I will have mu new web site. Maybe. Until then, adios.
