Pavlina: Life is Not For the Living

What a day! I woke late, then my office is being destroyed. What is a girl to do? Shopping, of course!

Why did I wake late? I think it may have something to do with the two angels from above that live in my house. Angels they may be, but they have this uncanny knack of waking in the night. Emma will stay attached to my breast for HOURS. It is quite amazing. Sleep deprived that I am, I nurse her in bed when she wakes at 2-3 am. Sometimes I put her back in bed, but she wakes again around 5-6am. So this morning she was on there from 6am until 7:30. Funny, no? Yes? I thought it was funny. And not just kinda on there, we are talking a full latch on.

My office renovations….*sigh*. So I am in a room with my two (male) coworkers. They both insist on eating in these close quarters. Great. I get to smell their food. Ugh. I was trapped because we were all doing the same web training at the time. I see lots of eating out in my future. I would not ever force my office mates to that, so I was going to eat in the lunch room/lab. Oh yes, and one of my office mates farts and belches with impunity. It’s gonna be a hot time in the old town tonight….

Shopping. I went to Old Navy as they were having a “baby sale”. Unfortunately toddlers were not included and this was something I didn’t notice until I checked out. I spent more than I would have liked at Old Navy, for crying out loud. I did get some cute things, so I will see what happens when I run them by the Financial Minister tonight.
