After what must be like over two years of nursing, I have mastitis. Ugh. Not fun. I am just waiting, passing the time until I can go to my CVS and pick up the prescription my midwife called in for me. I called my LLL leader hoping she would have some tips for. She did and the best one she gave me was to call my midwife and get the prescription ASAP so hopefully I will be feeling better tomorrow!!! Woo hoo. Of course I have to go out of town tomorrow on a one night business trip, so I really will be attached to my pump the entire time I am gone. No more sleeping though the night tomorrow while I am away. I will actually have to wake up several times to pump.
Sigh. I was getting so excited about Emma starting to self wean, too.

Don’t laugh and don’t get offended, but my mama cat just came down with this. This should make you feel better. She had eight nipples I had to massage and put compresses on. On top of shoving an antibiotic down her throat ever day.
I hope you are feeling better. I know it can make you miserable.
