Pavlina: Life is Not For the Living

I haven’t really been sewing anything, but I have a huge pile of to-do projects.

I have a suit I am currently making out of a silk-wool tweed boucle. I actually started this one three years ago, but I moth-balled it when i found out I was pregnant. I decided to finish it. I am almost done with the jacket, I just have to finish the lining and hem it. I still have to make the skirt, but that will be easy.

I also have a corduroy jacket and a pair of pants I wanted to make for this fall (ha ha ha) and a denim miniskirt. I also have a heavy poly print in brown and white that is gorgeous, but I don’t know yet what it wants to be.

For the kids I need to make some diapers and diaper covers (as always). I have a bunch of sherpa fleece and I wanted to make Emma a couple of little jumper style dresses for the winter. I also found a nice Burda pattern for Martin that has some pocketed pants with a shirt and a hooded long sleeve shirt. It’s very cute.

Anyway. Maybe I’ll take some pictures of my sewing space, if I ever get it cleaned up. Actually now that I think about it my machine needs to go into the shop….
