In a word this is Fabulous! I got this as part of the Vanilla Plum collection which had a small shower gel and body butter, plus this lip butter in Plum. The shower gel and body butter lotion smell wonderful, but I have not yet tried them. I’ve been quite caught up in the Body Shop Warm Amber collection lately and have not yet been willing to change. I did try this lip butter right away though, and it is very, very nice.

I lifted these right off the Sephora website, which I believe is the best place to get the Korres products. With my skin tone, which is likened to a warm caramel/brown butter shade, this is quite nice but I do find the tone to be a bit cool. When I wear this on it’s own it looks too cool for my warm yellow skintone, but it is so sheer that I feel like I can get away with it. These are so smooth and sheer, you can put them on without a mirror. I usually do not like pot glosses or lip treatments because you always need a brush or your finger to apply the product. This is so buttery and sheer, I can wipe the remainder on the palm of my hand and just work it in and it absorbs right into my skin without leaving glitter or pigment. Very nice. This product is super moisturizing and is perfect for a casual look (for me). Lately I have been wearing this under my MAC mattene Kirsh lipstick. This matte lipstick is very drying and I find this plum lip butter to be the perfect base. It gives a nice foundation shade, and allows the matte formula to wear quite nicely without drying my lips out.

Like I said, it is quite nice on it’s own and if you need a last minute gift idea I highly recommend this!
