is finished! It was a great listen, with many talented voice actors/actresses. It was richly narrated and the work that went into describing and bringing to life such a rich and vivid world was not minimal. The last story I was so impressed with was The Corridor and I must admit that Murder at Avedon Hill was better executed. I’ll add a new category to the sidebar of things not to be missed. Murder at Avedon Hill is the work of P.G. Holyfield and you must go to his site and check it out, info is on the sidebar. Now, what else can I say about this novel/work of art? It was riveting, and the characters were so full of life, they really did exist in my mind. The background and the mythology of the world was finely developed and both plot and character development were spot on. This should be a guide of what to do for any new writer. You want an awesome plot and you want awesome characters, this novel had them both! Kudos, PG.

On the right hand side of the page, I have my “blogroll”. Not really a blog roll, I really trimmed it down. I rarely actually visit web sites, I have everything loaded into my feed but now and then I do pick up an interesting site from twitter. Oh, before I forget, you all know where to find me, right? I try to be Pavlina20 pretty much everywhere, so on twitter I am pavlina20. I used to have that widget (also on the right) but I didn’t like the way it looked on the new site and I haven’t found a new one yet. On Google I am also pavlina20 and if you have a Google account, you can friend me there and you can see all my feeds! If you are a regular reader of the site (thanks) I track you and find your site and add it to my feed. Most of my readers find enough in common with me that I also like their blog (hey, it’s nice!). A couple of the blogs on the right have no earthly idea of who I am, but I am impressed enough with their blog that I added it (waves to Pioneer Woman, but she doesn’t see me).

I also have my Delicious site there, and you can really get lost there. That is where my true “weblog” is located, and if I do come across a very interesting site I’ll add it to my tags. It has really grown over the years and there is a lot of interesting stuff there. I don’t spend enough time there, which can only be a good thing. I have my flickr feed also on the right, and I have noticed a bit of traffic going there so feel free to look at all my amateur snapshots. I have the site of Vladimir Prelovac there because without him, this site would never have looked this great. I am always tweaking this site, and it all comes from his site. He has great tips for non-css and sql people like myself. He is awesome.

Right, that was quite the tangent. So, looking at the right hand side you will also see what I am listening to, what I am reading, and I am thinking of adding a “what I am obsessing over at the moment”. The listening can be music, but it is usually a podcast. Do you know what a podcast is? If not, go here, I defer to the Great Wikipedia. Most of these are Podiobooks, in which case I defer you here, I have been with Podiobooks since they had like three or four books only. Now I go there and there are hundreds of books, and they are ALL FREE. I listen to way more podcasts than I am going to list in my sidebar, but what I list under “Currently listening to”, I would recommend you follow the link. These are my highest ranked titles and they are usually very good. I have been an avid reader since I learned how to read, and I have a passion for books that is unbelievable.

My “currently reading” is usually much smaller, unfortunately. I still think of summer as prime reading season, though winter is usually the best for me. I have too much going on in summer to read! (all that weeding)

So I do recommend that you at least check out the sites to the right. They are only a few there, and I do highly recommend them.

That’s all for now.
