Sorry about that. I have just come off the travel four weeks of HELL!!! Yes, I was on travel for four weeks. I was home on the weekends, if you count getting in late Friday night then leaving Sunday evening a weekend. It was long enough to unpack, do laundry, go grocery shopping, cook a few dinners, pack and leave. Yikes. It was totally exhausting and I am so glad it’s over. I can also say I don’t think it was even worth my time to be gone that long. Not when my poor husband and kids miss me that much.

Okay, I should just let you know RIGHT NOW, if you don’t want to hear a long bitch session, leave now. That’s all I gotta say. Sorry if you don’t feel like hearing it, we all have our bad days.

Now, where was I? Oh yes, the hellacious travel. Gawd it sucked big time. I had three weeks in Madison, WI, in the same hotel and the staff were totally getting to know me. In a way it was nice, but in another way it was awful as the weather was BRUTAL. It was snow, snow, snow. Then I was sick the first week which dogged me the second week. The third week I was a zombie and last week I was just PISSED. I was in Chicago and while I did get to see some old pals, I was just miserable the rest of the time. I also came to the conclusion that my boss is a total and complete moron. I know I don’t talk about work here but at this point I don’t even care if he somehow finds this blog and reads about his dumb ass.

Which leads me to say this. You know and I know the truth hurts. This is why people will always be upset if you call them fat, ugly or stupid (even if they are indisputably so), and they will be so flattered if you call them thin, young, beautiful and smart. Personally speaking fat or ugly doesn’t bother me so much, these are really determined by fate’s roll of dice, you can’t really help those things. Now stupid, you can totally fix. Anyone can just become less stupid (or ignorant, I am using them quite interchangeably here), so I have less than NO respect for stupidity. When I see it I get all annoyed. You know, I’ve been called stupid plenty of times (never to my face), and probably I WAS doing something stupid or saying something stupid. It happens to most of us. I am talking about those who maintain a constant level of stupidity. This is who I work for. Ugh.
